Megseventdecor offers both delivery and collection services.
Delivery within a 10 mile radius of Sherborne is £5.00. For every 2 miles after that £1.25 is added to your delivery charge.
If your order requires time to be set up by myself, or another member of the team, then a service fee will be added. This will be calculated based on length of time to set up.
If your set up requires equipment that needs collecting at the end you will be charged double your delivery fee.
If you are not in at the scheduled time of delivery then it will be your responsibility to collect at a time suitable to me and my business. You will not be refunded your delivery fee.
If you have chosen to collect your order and you do not show up at your agreed time or at all then you will not receive a refund. If you are running late or early please message me before hand.
No order is confirmed until a payment or deposit has been made unless agreed otherwise by myself.
Ideally your order should be made at least a week in advance. However, in some instances I may be able to accommodate with less notice.
An invoice will be sent to you upon ordering and it is your responsibility to make the payment. If payment is not received at all then your order is not confirmed and will not be fulfilled.
If your order is above £100 and over a month away then a payment plan may be possible. Please ask upon ordering for more information on payment plans.
Once you have paid your invoice please contact Megseventdecor and notify of payment so I can confirm I have received it my end.
Payment is via bank transfer only to my designated business account. The bank details are near the bottom left of every invoice. If you would like to pay via card a fee will be added to your total to cover transaction fees.
No PayPal, Cash or Cheques.
As much as I appreciate and understand that things do come up that may cause you to cancel at short notice please appreciate my cancellation policy.
If you have paid in full and have given me a minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation, then a partial refund will be given. This will only be the remaining amount after costs of both stock and time.
If you cancel any later than 10 days prior to your order date then you will only receive a 20% refund.
In some instances we may be able to reschedule but this will be dependent on multiple factors including availability and type of display.
Once your product has been delivered/collected it is now your responsibility to look after it in an appropriate way. We will not accept responsibility once the display has left my care. Please see the Care for your Balloons section for advice.
Please keep your balloons away from any heat and/or direct sunlight. Balloons will expand and contract in hot and cold conditions. These reactions may cause balloons to pop or deflate. Unfortunately this is a factor out of our control.
Your balloons are delicate, please handle them with care.
The balloons and props are not toys, and are for display purposes only. Children and Animals should be supervised at all times.
Keep balloons away from anything sharp as this can cause them to pop.
Balloons can go through a process called oxidisation. This is a natural reaction which cannot be controlled and can leave coloured balloons looking matte and clear balloons looking cloudy. Sunlight and heat can speed up this reaction.
While every effort has been made to ensure the longevity of your balloons, please be aware some natural responses are out of our control, and once the balloons are in your possession it is your responsibility to ensure they are cared for and children/animals are kept safe and supervised.
